Illegal firearm discovered on Nevis construction site

Police on patrol in Newcastle, Nevis made a serious find this week: a Taurus Millennium G2 9mm pistol, fully loaded with ten rounds, hidden on a construction site.

No arrests have been made, but the Crime Scene Unit has already processed the area and collected evidence for forensic testing. The weapon is now in police custody.

Investigators say the case is active and they’re calling on the public for help. Anyone with information is urged to step forward, either through their local station or anonymously.

This discovery is the latest reminder of how closely the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force is watching the streets. The message is simple: illegal firearms will not be allowed to circulate unchecked.
