Nevis Tourism Authority names new CEO

he Nevis Tourism Authority (NTA) has a new boss. Starting September 1st, Andia Ravariere will take over as Chief Executive Officer, bringing over a decade of Caribbean tourism experience to the job.

Ravariere, who has worked in both Anguilla and Dominica, made her mark on sustainable, community-driven tourism. In Dominica, she launched the Colihaut Fish Lime — a community event that boosted local industry and created opportunities for women entrepreneurs. She also helped steer Anguilla’s recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic and most recently grew Dominica’s reach into niche markets as Destination Marketing Manager.

Her track record? Driving visitor numbers, shaping new tourism products, and focusing on sustainability.

🗣️ “Her proven track record in sustainable tourism and her deep understanding of Caribbean destination marketing make her uniquely qualified,” said Premier Mark Brantley, welcoming her appointment.

Pamela Martin, Chair of the NTA Board, agreed, calling Ravariere’s appointment “an important milestone” that will help Nevis strengthen global partnerships while keeping community and sustainability at the centre of tourism.

For her part, Ravariere says she wants Nevis to lead the region in redefining luxury — not just beaches and hotels, but a mix of nature, culture, and innovation that protects heritage and empowers the people.

👉 With tourism being the lifeblood of Nevis’ economy, this appointment signals a fresh push to put the island on the map — barefoot luxury, authentic Caribbean culture, and all.
