One Week Later: Where Is Janelika?
It’s been one full week since 15-year-old Janelika Romney was last seen - and while the clock ticking, the Federation still holding on tight to hope 🙏🏽
The teen, who disappeared after school on 16 June, was last spotted wearing her Verchild’s High School uniform. Since then, worry been rising like heat in a pressure pot. But officials now saying she’s alive and well, and dat little piece of hope keeping people strong.
Police ain’t slowing down. Matter of fact, they ramping up hard. Intelligence recently drop say Janelika made contact with some family, and based on dat, the investigation get a whole new gear.
👮🏽 Deputy Commissioner Cromwell Henry confirm say multiple people been brought in already, questioned and deh statements now under microscope.
“These statements undergoing detailed analysis, which will inform the next phase of investigative action,” he say.
And if you tink the streets quiet - think again. Politicians, community leaders and everyday citizens out deh putting in WORK. Most of de ground search now centred ‘round New Guinea area, as tip-offs keep rolling in.

“This investigation is wide-ranging and serious. Every effort is being made to assess all relevant info properly,” Henry added.
