SKN CIU Head to Lagos to Woo Investors
St. Kitts and Nevis making another big international move - this time straight into Lagos. The country’s Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU) hosting an exclusive, invitation-only event at the Lagos Continental Hotel on October 7, bringing together some of Nigeria’s top investors, business elites, and wealth advisors.
Leading the delegation is Calvin St. Juste, Executive Chairman of the CIU Board of Governors, who say the goal is simple: strengthen ties with West Africa and show why SKN’s CBI programme still stand out as one of the most trusted and transparent in the world.
For years, Nigeria and SKN been tightening links - trade, diplomacy, and people-to-people connections. Now, as more Nigerians look to expand their global reach, SKN stepping in to show that dual citizenship can be more than a passport — it’s an entry into stability, opportunity, and credibility. The Eastern Caribbean dollar’s peg to the US dollar, the island’s strong governance record, and its clean financial reputation make it an easy sell for serious investors.
But this trip ain’t just about marketing. It’s about planting the flag in a fast-growing market where demand for mobility and security is high, and competition from other citizenship programmes getting fierce. Nigeria’s business crowd already knows SKN’s name — now it’s about showing them what makes it different.
A fancy Lagos ballroom can open doors, but what really matter is what follow after. If SKN deliver real partnerships, real transparency, and real benefits, this could turn into a long-term bridge between Basseterre and Lagos. But if it’s all gloss and no substance — it go be just another cocktail and a press release.
