SKN link up with Oman in New York
St Kitts and Nevis has officially added a new partner on the world stage. This week in New York, the Federation and the Sultanate of Oman signed a joint statement establishing diplomatic relations built on cooperation and friendship.
The agreement was sealed at Oman’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations. Signing on behalf of Oman was Ambassador Omar Said Al Kithiri, while Ambassador Mutryce Agatha Williams, SKN’s Permanent Representative to the UN, represented the Federation.
Ambassador Williams carried greetings straight from Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew and Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Denzil Douglas. She stressed that the move is about elevating ties, opening new opportunities and strengthening dialogue between the two nations.
For Oman, Ambassador Al Kithiri welcomed the step as an important one. He highlighted how both governments are committed to laying the groundwork for stronger relations that serve the interests of their peoples.
