The streets of Nevis are finally getting the attention they deserve! 🚧

The Ministry of Communication, Public Works, Water Services, Physical Planning, Environment, Posts, Labour, and Disaster Management (yes, that entire name) is out here doing the work - with major drainage and culvert upgrades now underway on Low Street and Main Street. πŸ‘·πŸ½β€β™‚οΈπŸ› οΈ

After years of battling overflowing drains and flash flooding, the island’s looking to level up. Hon. Spencer Brand, the Minister holding down basically every key portfolio, gave a quick update and the plans are sounding serious.

While traffic might be a lil’ stressful during construction, Brand sent love to the motorists for their patience and promised better days are coming.

Between this and new drainage infrastructure in Brown Hill, it’s clear the NIA is putting resilience and public safety at the top of the agenda for 2025.
