Festival Vibes Turn Sour As Visitor Robbed Outside Music Fest

Wha really a gwan? Just when we thought the St Kitts Music Festival 2025 was all joy, vibes and sweet music, a heartbreaking post from a festival-goer gone viral, reminding everybody that not everything glitter is gold. πŸ‡°πŸ‡³πŸ’”

Ashley Nicole Felsch, a visitor from the United States, took to social media after being robbed on the night of June 28, just outside Warner Park Stadium, minutes after the final show ended. Around 9:10 PM, Ashley say two masked men approached her and made off with her black quilted purse, which had a gold chain and charms on it. But it wasn’t just about a handbag - she lost nearly her whole world in that one moment. 😞

Inside the bag? A cowhide wallet (black and white) with her Colorado driver’s licence, credit cards, cash and some deeply sentimental items that she says mean more to her than anything money can buy. Chapstick, lip gloss, eye drops - small things, yes, but they were hers. And now, she’s stranded in the Caribbean without legal ID and no way to drive once she returns to the States, which she says might not be for months. πŸš«πŸš—

Ashley’s not just waiting around either. She’s working with the police, trying to get footage from cameras near the Basseterre High School construction lot and around Warner Park. She’s asking the public - especially those living near the stadium - to check around their yards, bins and nearby drains in case the robbers dumped anything while fleeing. πŸ•΅πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ“Ή

And she’s hopeful. She say if by some miracle someone finds her ID, they can drop it off anonymously at Ross University, or even just throw it out the car in that area. No questions asked - she just wants her things back. If you know anything or find anything, Ashley’s asking you to DM her or email ashleyfelsch@students.rossu.edu.

The incident is a hard reminder to all festival-goers to stay aware, stick together and keep valuables close. While St Kitts Music Festival brings out the best in Caribbean culture, it only takes one bad moment to shift the mood.

To Ashley: the whole community rooting for you. And to whoever took that bag - do the right thing. Drop it. Return it. Karma coming. πŸ–€πŸ‘€πŸ“’

Stay safe out there, people. Festival vibes cyan mix with foolishness.
