Nevis Youth Ready to Defend Tourism Crown

Premier Mark Brantley welcomed Junior Minister of Tourism Khayla Claxton and reigning Caribbean Youth Congress champ Keyana Warner to his office this week, alongside chaperone Ms Morton and tourism lead Ms Webbe.

Claxton will fly the Nevis flag in Barbados on October 2, competing against 16 other countries in the CTO Youth Congress. She’s got some big shoes to fill — Warner grabbed the crown last year, following in the footsteps of Nevisian stars Rol-J Williams and Neelia Jones.

Brantley congratulated Claxton, wished her success, and made it clear: with this calibre of youth, the future of Nevis tourism looking more than secure.
