SKN Tops Global CBI Index for Fifth Straight Year
SKN has once again secured its place as the world’s leading citizenship by investment (CBI) programme, taking the top spot in the 2025 CBI Index for the fifth consecutive year.
The annual rankings, published by Professional Wealth Management and widely seen as the global benchmark for investor migration, credited the Federation with bold reforms that have enhanced transparency, strengthened due diligence and improved security. The establishment of a statutory body to oversee the programme was highlighted as a major step forward.
Dominica retained second place, recognised for its consistency and stability, while Grenada placed third thanks to inclusive family policies and strict regulation of agents. Antigua and Barbuda also made the top five, supported by new biometric measures and greater regional cooperation.
The Caribbean’s dominance in the rankings was reaffirmed, with the Index calling the region the most reliable destination for alternative citizenship. St Kitts and Nevis in particular was praised for maintaining its reputation as a pioneer in the field, having launched the world’s first citizenship by investment programme more than 40 years ago.
The 2025 Index also reflected Africa’s growing role in the industry, with São Tomé and Príncipe debuting at tenth place. The report noted the significance of deepening Afri-Caribbean ties, including visa-free access to Nigeria for Kittitians and Nevisians, and recent high-level diplomatic visits by the Federation’s leadership.
With the CBI Index approaching its tenth anniversary, this year’s findings underline that St Kitts and Nevis continues to set the global standard – combining credibility, innovation and a proven track record that keeps investors returning year after year.
