Taiwan Youth Join SKN for Global Pathfinders Initiative

Eight young people from Taiwan have arrived in St Kitts and Nevis as part of Taiwan’s Global Pathfinders Initiative, a programme designed to foster international cooperation and leadership.

For the next two months, the youth delegation will intern in government agencies, connect with local leaders and communities, and showcase Taiwan’s creativity and innovation. The initiative reflects both countries’ commitment to building strong people-to-people ties while giving young professionals real-world experience in diplomacy, governance and development.

Ambassador Edward Tao of Taiwan welcomed the group and encouraged them to embrace challenges, dream big, and use the opportunity to strengthen the bonds between Taiwan and St Kitts and Nevis.

The visit adds a new chapter to the longstanding partnership between the two nations, which already spans cooperation in areas such as agriculture, education, health and recycling. Through initiatives like this, both sides continue to deepen their collaboration while empowering the next generation to think globally and act locally.
